As part of its Olympic push, Diadora has tapped seven top sneaker boutiques across the globe for its “From Seoul to Rio” series tied to the glory of the global games. For its part, Packer Shoes cooked up this version of the Diadora Intrepid wearing the distinct hues of the Olympic rings.
Further Olympic flavor comes on the insole, which gets a graphic collage of flags.
The made-in-Italy Packer Shoes x Diadora Intrepid "From Seoul to Rio" releases exclusively at Packer Shoes on Saturday, Aug. 20, at noon both in-store and online. The sneakers are limited to 500 pairs globally and will retail for $180.
Accompanying the footwear is a similarly themed set of apparel, all of which is made in Italy.
