No school is better endowed with Nike sneakers than the University of Oregon. The sportswear giant's roots run deep at the institution, which explains the never-ending stream of shoes decked out in Ducks colors and logos. In a breakdown of the school's new Marcus Mariota Sports Performance Center, some of those models are on display.
There are the requisite football cleats and then the more exciting shoes, retro Jordans and Ducks Huaraches among them. Of course, this display is far from exhaustive when it comes to University of Oregon Nike shoes.
The heavy Nike presence at the center shouldn't come as much of a surprise between the brand's aforementioned connections to Oregon and the fact that the facility was a gift from Nike co-founder Phil Knight.
