While we don't know what the Kubo x Air Jordan 15 looks like just yet, we do have some information on the release of the sneakers. The animation studio behind Kubo, Laika, has partnered with a number of outlets to give away pairs of the shoes.
Complex will announce a giveaway later this week where five pairs of the Kubo x Air Jordan 15 will be available. Additionally, those who buy a ticket for a "From Coraline to Kubo: A Magical LAIKA Experience," opening at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Globe Theatre on Aug. 5, through Kernel will get access to an interactive event where they can win a pair. Finally, on Aug. 11, a game will launch via the Kubo website that will reward top players with a pair of the sneakers.
In addition to the giveaways, pairs will be available via charity auctions beginning on Aug. 8, with proceeds benefiting the Just Keep Livin Foundation.
Exact production numbers aren't available yet, but there will be at least 300 pairs of the Kubo x Jordan 15 available.
