NBA veteran and recent champion Dahntay Jones' sneaker collection just took a huge hit, according to TMZ. Jones told the site that 208 pairs of Nikes he had in a storage facility in Atlanta were recently auctioned off after he failed to keep up with the bills on the space.

The shoes reportedly sold for around $4,000.

Jones told TMZ that his credit card stopped making automatic payments for the facility after a possible fraud alert blocked the charges. He said he offered to come up with the cash to set things straight but that his stuff was sold off anyway, and now he's considering legal action.

It's unclear exactly what Jones lost in the transaction, but TMZ's story mentions that some samples made for Fat Joe were in the lot. The video below appears to show some of the goods from the cleared-out storage space.
