We've known for awhile now that they were coming, and now the "Olympic" Ultra Boosts are less than a week away from releasing.
The inspiration here isn't exactly subtle, but that's exactly what makes them so special.
Each of these Primeknit-based colorways is accented with premium leather tongues and cages—a detail usually saved for limited collaborations—and metallic heel cups referencing the gold, silver, and bronze medals of the summer games.
In addition to the medal flair, each pair features a slightly different Primeknit weave, although all three opt for the "2.0" gradient pattern.
The best part, though, is that you won't have to wait for the closing ceremony to get your hands on these. The "Olympic" Ultra Boosts drop next week on August 17 from select adidas Running retailers.
