Legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield doesn't appear to have had a hand in the Jordan 31, the upcoming signature model from Jordan Brand, but he's still involved with its rollout.

The latest teaser for the shoe has Hatfield discussing the tradition of boundary pushing that the brand was built on.

"I think there was this desire on the part of us, and Michael, to be different, to be leaders, to do things differently," Hatfield says.

The video, which appears below, also features a "Banned" style image of the black/red Jordan 31 paying homage to the infamous "Banned" Jordan 1.
