You may have heard about adidas' plans to use robots to make sneakers in its new Speedfactory, but what about a robot who actually wears adidas just like us?

That's exactly what researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have created, with what is said to be the world's most human-like walking robot.

As you can see in the clip above, the robot actually has a heel-strike and push-off similar to a real human, whereas previous robots were only able to move flat-footed, according to phys.org. The researchers say that this allows their robot to take steps that are longer and faster.

Perhaps the coolest part, though, is that the robot is laced in a fresh pair of adidas Campus sneakers. What, were you expecting something more futuristic?
