You may have heard about adidas' plans to use robots to make sneakers in its new Speedfactory, but what about a robot who actually wears adidas just like us?

That's exactly what researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have created, with what is said to be the world's most human-like walking robot.

As you can see in the clip above, the robot actually has a heel-strike and push-off similar to a real human, whereas previous robots were only able to move flat-footed, according to The researchers say that this allows their robot to take steps that are longer and faster.

Perhaps the coolest part, though, is that the robot is laced in a fresh pair of adidas Campus sneakers. What, were you expecting something more futuristic?
