A model that's owned the year, the adidas NMD will next be available in all-black Primeknit, complete with a blacked out Boost sole. However, sneakerheads won't be able to purchase the shoe in-store or online.
Instead, adidas has limited the "Pitch Black" NMD to 500 individually numbered pairs, 100 of which will be given out through Snapchat. While details are scarce as of this writing, the brand's Twitter account teased the giveaway and suggested that its followers also follow the @adidasOriginals Snapchat account "today and tomorrow."
According to Adidas, the giveaway rules are as follows:
– Story will go live on Snapchat (@adidasOriginals) at 12 p.m. EST Saturday, July 30. The contest will be live for 24 hours.
– The snap story will reveal a series of hidden numbers, once complete, users can piece the numbers together and text the final phone number and await next steps.
– 100 entrants will be selected at random once the Snapchat story expires, and will receive a pair of the NMD_R1 PK “Pitch Black.”
