It's been 24 long years since the Dream Team wreaked havoc on the world's top basketball teams, and one of the squad's best—yet oft-overlooked—sneakers is finally coming back.
This "Olympics" colorway of the Ewing Eclipse was made famous by none other than big man Patrick Ewing. Although the shoes worn in Barcelona by the likes of Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley may be more well-known, part of that notoriety is because they've been re-released numerous times since 1992.
On the other hand, these "Olympic" Ewing Eclipses are set to come back for the first time ever this month. Ewing Athletics still has plenty of gems in the vaults, but this may be the single most important retro for the brand yet.
This pair is set to release sometime in July, and a sneaker release date will be announced soon.
