While these Air Jordan 31s' white and red colorways conveniently line up with the classic "Chicago" look seen on so many Air Jordans before, the shoes are actually tied to a totally different locale. These two pairs were made for the Croatia men's basketball team to play in during the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
The shoes don't look to have any specific marks tying them to that nation, so the colors do the heavy lifting here as far as the theme goes.
