Adidas is giving a fancy edge to two of its most celebrated archival silhouettes in a new collection that it calls the "999 Noble Metals" pack. The pack offers up an adidas Stan Smith and a Rod Laver, both with gold detailing on the tongues and heels.
While it's not really being billed as a collaboration, there is a collaborative element to this two-shoe collection. According to adidas, the gold details were added with the help of Eytzinger, a gold beating company based in Schwabach, Germany, that's been around since 1867.
The global release date for this adidas duo is set for July 15, 2016.
The sneakers will retail for $110 each.
