The adidas NMD exclusive game just got serious with the unveil of this, a super limited friends and family version of the shoe posted on Instagram by a European sneaker industry insider.
The shoe comes from Marc Leuschner, CEO of Overkill in Germany, and is called the adidas NMD "Firestarter," the name presumably referencing the fiery outsole and pulltab on back. The Primeknit upper looks rather like that of a black/grey NMD that released earlier in 2016.
These angles don't reveal any Overkill branding on the sneaker, so it doesn't appear that this is a collaboration with the store.
Just how limited is the shoe? According to Leuschner, there are only 300 pairs in existence.
