After checking out the "4th of July" Kobe 11s and Kyrie 2s, we've got a better look at the patriotic KD 9s.
First spotted in March during a preview of Nike's Team USA Basketball gear, these "4th of July" KD 9s will be amongst the first colorways to release for Kevin Durant's latest signature shoe. Here, a white Flyknit upper is accented with a shiny red Swoosh and hits of navy blue on the eyelets and heel tab.
The KD 9 is cushioned with full length visible Zoom Air, which appears in red on this pair. A noteworthy takeaway is that the Zoom Air is visible only at the sneaker's lateral side, although that should not have an effect on performance.
After the Nike KD 9's debut on June 20, this "4th of July" colorway is expected to drop on July 2.
