This summer's Olympic footwear offerings from Nike won't be restricted to red, white, and blue palettes. To mark the coming games in Rio, the brand has created what it's calling the "Unlimited" colorway, a blend of volt and hyper-punch. Kevin Durant's Nike KD 9 is one of many shoes that will don the look.
This version of the KD 9 leaked last week, but the Olympic context surrounding the shoe wasn't known then.
According to Nike, this colorful "Unlimited" KD 9 will launch on Aug. 4 alongside the rest of the sneakers in this pack.
The Unlimited palette is inspired by the iridescent hues of tropical fauna and the speed of athletes in motion.
