Imagine ordering a pair of sneaker and having it delivered the same day–no waiting around for a week for the UPS worker to show up on your doorstep. Now imagine that Kevin Durant himself delivering the shoes.
This weekend in New York City, Nike Basketball teamed up with delivery service Postmates to make that happen. Select users who ordered a pair of the KD 9 "Premiere" through Nike were blessed with a special edition pack (seen below) and the presence of the seven-time All-Star.
While the KD 9 "Premiere," a USA-looking colorway that will likely be worn by Durant during the Olympics, isn't out until July 1, New York shoppers were able to order the shoes early this weekend through this special promotion.
