"Flu Game" isn't a vanity sneaker nickname — it's a reference to a moment in time, when Michael Jordan brilliantly battled through various symptoms to drop 38 points on the Utah Jazz in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals. Those who witnessed it live will never forget it — those who haven't watched it yet are missing out on a special piece of history.

Fortunately, sneaker retailer Shoe Palace is giving its customers a chance to reminisce on the greatness of Jordan before buying the Air Jordan 12 Retro named after this famous game. The game is being showed tonight at the Oakridge Mall, Grand Canal Shoppes and Hollywood & Highland locations. The events will run from 8 - 10 p.m PST. Those who stay for the entire viewing will be entered into a drawing for a free pair of "Flu Game" 12s at each store. View the flyer below for more information.
