Ronnie Fieg is finally releasing the "Super Green" Asics Gel Lyte 3, a previously unreleased colorway that first surfaced in 2013.
Over the weekend, Fieg sent out a couple of tweets promising the release of these sneakers and a few others.
For the Kith 5 year anniversary, I'm dropping a few unicorns. We'll start with the Super Greens. Made in Japan.
Along with those Super Green Gel Lyte iii's, I'm releasing the 1st of 3 Gel Lyte 3.1's. After the three 3.1's release they go away forever.
It's unclear what Fieg is talking about with the Asics Gel Lyte 3.1, but he did post the cryptic photo below on Instagram two weeks ago. The caption "Year 5," along with the presence of the "Super Green" Gel Lyte 3, suggests that the other pairs in the photo could be releasing as well as part of Kith's five-year anniversary.
