Reebok goes back to the block with the help of Packer Shoes on this new collaboration, which references the Phase 1's history as a hustler's shoe.
The sneaker is updated with materials reflecting the era of its debut like black garment leather uppers and croc-embossed tongues. They've got some flash to them as well via the gold dubrae and dookie rope print that hits on the insoles.
The shoe makes direct reference to its original run on the back with "1985" embroidery. While this silhouette debuted in '84, its street-level impact wasn't fully established until the next year, hence the peg.
The Packer Shoes x Reebok Phase 1 Pro "Corner 85" ($110) releases at noon EST on Friday, May 13, both in-store and online via Packer Shoes. Releasing alongside the sneakers is a Packer-exclusive New Era Yankees fitted ($40) in black and gold.
