If this shoe looks familiar, it's because it first surfaced as the sample for the next model in John Wall's signature line. He's since parted ways with adidas, making room for some new blood to lead an exciting silhouette for the brand.
While it's not his official signature model, Andrew Wiggins gets the call for the newly dubbed adidas Crazy Explosive. Another intriguing design from the basketball category's upcoming launches, the Crazy Explosive features engineered Primeknit and a Geofit bootie for a breathable and stable experience. Full-length Boost works with a tuned TPU wrap to return energy and enhance responsiveness. An infinity-shaped shank aids midfoot stability and coral power traction provides grip wherever the player needs it.
Adidas is expected to release the first colorway of the Crazy Explosive sometime in August, coinciding with that they hope is a trip to the Olympics for Wiggins. More colorways and Wiggins PEs will release throughout the remainder of the year. Retail is currently pegged at $150.
