Every film that's come from stop-motion animation studio Laika to date has had a special Nike shoe tied into its release, from the Coraline Dunks to the Paranorman Foamposites to the Boxtrolls Roshes. Why the constant collaboration? Laika is owned by Nike co-founder Phil Knight, and his son Travis is its CEO and president.
Up next from the studio is Kubo and the Two Strings, a film set to hit theaters in August, 2016. Nike's not announced any sneakers surrounding the movie just yet, but it's a pretty safe bet that one is coming given the pattern for previous releases from Laika.
