Jordan Brand's iconic Jumpman logo will likely be making its way to NBA jerseys, ESPN's Darren Rovell reports.

BREAKING: Adam Silver said it's likely Hornets will have Brand Jordan logo on jerseys in 2017-18, not the Nike logo like rest of league.

According to Rovell's above tweet, league commissioner Adam Silver said that the logos will probably appear on the Charlotte Hornets' jerseys for the 2017-18 NBA season. Nike is set to take over the NBA apparel contract starting in 2017, and this news makes it sound like its contract with the league gives the brand the option to use subsidiary Jordan Brand's logo on uniforms.

The connection here is Michael Jordan himself, principal owner and chairman of the Hornets franchise.
