The Nike Kobe "Fade to Black" charity auction ended over the weekend, with 17 bidders pushing the set up to a final price of $30,101.
The group has thirteen pairs of shoes, each individually signed by Kobe Bryant. Except for the black/gold Kobe 11 worn by Bryant during his last game, none of the sneakers from the collection are going for a ton on the resell market—most are hovering between $400 and $500.
According to StockX numbers, the average resell prices on each pair totaled together brings the whole pack to about $6,400, so Bryant's signatures add on almost $24,000.
The good news about this expensive set of sneakers is all the proceeds go to a good cause. Nike will be donating the money raised to the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation.
