Cavs owner and entrepreneur Dan Gilbert is the proud owner of one of the rarest pairs of Nike LeBrons in the world. No, it's not a pair sourced directly from King James, but rather a one-off custom.
The pair was created by JBF Customs and El Cappy, who each contributed one shoe to the project. El Cappy, who hails from Detroit, uses a map of the city on his half that references Gilbert's companies headquartered there. JBF, a Cleveland native, mixes basketball leather and Cleveland Cavaliers jerseys on his.
These two cities are close to Gilbert, who was born in Detroit and now calls Cleveland his second home.
The base shoe here is the Nike Air Zoom Generation, LeBron James' first signature shoe with Nike.
