If you're reading this, chances are you already have a sneaker collection. But, if not, Chris Bosh is here to help.

The Miami Heat power forward posted a new piece on his website this week where he talks about his personal history with sneakers and gives would-be collectors advice on where to purchase footwear. There's not too much insight on picking up shoes that you've not heard before, but Bosh's stories about getting into shoes are certainly relatable.

"We’d get one pair at the beginning of each school year and then wear them into the ground," Bosh writes of his days as a youngster coveting sportswear. "I remember getting the Eastbay catalog at school. We’d flip through the pages and fantasize over all the new, cool shoes."

Bosh also mentions that the only sneaker from his youth that he's still trying to track down is a pair of Penny 2s.
