The 2016 Boston Marathon is right around the corner, which means sneaker companies of all sorts will be celebrating with shoes for the occasion.
The vast majority of them will be unofficially connected to the race, like this adidas Originals retro. The sneaker is apparently part of a series of marathon sneakers referencing different cities. According to the shoe's designer Josh Herr, there are five more pairs to come.
The adidas EQT Running Support design shown has miniature flags hanging off the heels and mentions Boston on its dubraes.
This sneaker will release on Saturday, April 16, at retailers like Rise.
