Though adidas has enjoyed a lot of success with the Ultra Boost, there's still plenty of untapped possibilities for this relatively fresh silhouette.
This unreleased sample, for example, pairs black Primeknit with a metallic gold counter. The usual white Boost and Continental rubber sole does the job below. It also appears to utilize the wave pattern near the toe that we've seen on recent drops.
Whether or not this colorway is planned for retail is unknown at the moment, but it'd make for another easy win for the runner. Hit the follow button for updates on a possible release.
UPDATE 4/3: A better look at the black and gold Ultra Boost via kaiweikaiwei. The early word is that this pair could be pair of a gold, silver and bronze three-pack being released for this year's Olympics. Adding more fuel to that fire, a black and silver pair has popped up in recent days. We'll keep you updated on that story as it develops.
