There's Bad News About the "Wings" Air Jordan 12

An update on the anticipated pair.

The Air Jordan 12 "Wings" is a limited release with a premium wipe-away upper, so it only makes sense that the shoe would sell for above the regular retail price for retro Jordans.

But, when Nike posted the shoe on its launch calendar yesterday, the price was listed at just $190 (the standard asking price for retro Jordans). It's since amended the page, bumping the price up to $225.

While readers will no doubt be upset about the change, there's a pretty small chance that any of them will actually be able to purchase these anyway. The sneaker is limited to 12,000 pairs and will absolutely have many more than 12,000 people going after it.

Watch for this Jordan 12 to launch on Saturday, April 2, at 10 a.m. EST via Nike SNKRS.
