Australian sneakerheads have it tough. Not only do they get shorted on a lot of releases but they apparently also have to worry about massive spiders colonizing their shoes.

In a video that hit YouTube this week, a dad sprays down his son's sneakers that were left out overnight.

"This is why you should always check them before putting them back on," he says, his spray coaxing out a nightmare-inducing whopper of an arachnid.

The user who uploaded the video later wrote on Reddit that the creature inside was a window spider. According to Wikipedia, the creature "isn't considered dangerous" but packs a bite that "may be excruciatingly painful and cause local swelling."
