In collaboration with its Director of Football Development Snoop Dogg, adidas unveils the “Money” adizero 5-Star cleat.
Inspired by Snoop’s famous Gin and Juice lyrics, “I’ve got my mind on my money and my money and my money on my mind,” the cleats feature a photorealistic money Chromaflage print, the latest evolution in the brand’s series of “flage” patterns. The “Gotta Hustle” lace jewelry harks back to a track on one of Snoop’s early mixtape, which designers were listening to while sketching the cleat. The money theme is accentuated by the application of a $100 bill-inspired laser security strip into the 3-Stripes on the shoebox.
The collection also includes 5-Star gloves, arm sleeves and socks.
