The classic "Safari" Nike Air Max 1 returns in 2016 with a few tweaks made to the model to preserve the sanctity of the original.
There's a page for the shoe now on Nike's SNKRS app that promises a drawing to come on March 14. The page mentions that the soles glow in the dark this time, one of the details that sets these apart from the first pair.
Ironically atmos, the sneaker store responsible for bringing this look to the Air Max 1 in 2002, isn't mentioned in the app's copy on the shoe. Instead, the model is referenced as being "reminiscent of a former collaborative Air Max release."
It's unclear if this pair will be available strictly via Nike or if boutique accounts will get a crack at them.
