Places like eBay and Flight Club are mainstays for sneaker shopping on the secondary market, but the prices there are often too much to bear. If you're in San Antonio, Texas, there's now the option of heading to your local police department and checking the shoes they have for sale.
The San Antonio Police Department will auction off 42 pairs of Air Jordans on March 24. The department's listing for the auctions doesn't break down each individual shoe, but pairs like the "Olympic" Jordan 6 and the Air Jordan 23 are called out by name. The above photo from the auction shows off some more shoes that will be available.
The high bar for repossessed and resold sneakers was set by this auction in Flint, Mich., last year that drew sneakerheads from surrounding towns eager to pick up pairs.
