Not much will be made of the final matchups between Kobe Bryant and P.J. Tucker, especially considering that Kobe chose to sit tonight's game out. But with respect to the game, Tucker has made sure to pay his respect to the Mamba this season, lacing up vintage pairs of his sneakers when the Phoenix Suns squared off against the Los Angeles Lakers. Tonight, Tucker pulled out an unreleased PE from Bryant's early days with Nike.
Following a 21-pair shopping trip,to RIF LA earlier in the day, Tucker hit the Staples Center Hardwood in the Stash-like black and purple Nike Kobe 1 PE. According to Tucker's Instagram post, the shoes were purchased from longtime web shop P4P shoes.
In the decade-old sneakers, Tucker finished with 13 points and 6 rebounds to help the Suns pick up a 95-90 victory.
