Nike Basketball's past caught up with its present when Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving debuted a Huarache-inspired Kyrie 2 PE against the Utah Jazz Monday night.

Perfectly executed, Irving's model borrows its scheme from the original Air Flight Huarache from '92, made famous by the Fab Five among others. The shoes even feature the same rubber tongue logo, but with Irving's logo in place of the Huarache symbol.

At this point, it's not known whether or not Nike plans to release the "Huarache" Kyrie 2, but it seems like it'd be a wise decision. For now, enjoy a few in-game shots and hit the follow button for updates.
