Here's What a "Hare" Air Jordan 6 Looks Like

What if the colorway debuted a year earlier?

Arguably the best white and red colorway in the Air Jordan line, the "Hare" scheme was introduced on the Air Jordan 7 in 1992. Coinciding with Nike's partnership with Warner Bros. and the Looney Tunes, the colorway received its nickname after Bugs Bunny wore a pair and dubbed himself "Hare Jordan" in a series of TV and print ads.

Recently, customizer Dank applied "Hare" styling to the original's predecessor, the Air Jordan 6. Expertly executed, Dank added an off-white coat to the base, while the overlays stand out in true white. The Air Jordan 7's multicolor geomeric pattern graces the tongue and the translucent outsole has been turned red. In case the inspiration wasn't obvious, carrot icons were painted on the heels.

This custom looks like something Jordan Brand could produce and have success with in the future. For now, visit jwdanklefs.com for information on how to get custom work done.
