A Chicago photojournalist ran afoul of adidas this week by snapping a shot of one of its upcoming sneakers that the public hasn't seen yet.
Anthony Souffle at the Chicago Tribune wrote about his experience here, detailing the amusing run-in he had with some brand folks in the Windy City's Loop district. After getting a tip about a photoshoot involving fake snow, Souffle went to check it out.
He says that while he was taking photos he was confronted by a member of the adidas crew who tried to stop him because the shoes hadn't launched yet. Another grabbed his camera and another blasted him with fake snow.
Despite the efforts to thwart him, Souffle emerged with a photo of the sneakers, which appear to be Boost-equipped runners.
