After the story of a boy getting his sneakers stolen went viral, a man has offered to replace the boy's sneakers, and then some.

It started on Saturday, Feb. 6, when a 14-year-old-boy in Spokane, Wash., was attacked by a group of teenagers, one of them brandishing a sledgehammer. During the attack, the group robbed the boy of his Air Jordans.

When KREM 2 reported the story and posted it on their Facebook, commenters showing support for the boy chimed in.

One of them, sneaker collector Tony Williams, plans to replace the boy's Jordans by taking him shopping on Wednesday. What's more, he said he'll buy however many Jordans the boy wants.

The attackers are facing assault and robbery charges.
