On this day five years ago, Ray Allen made his NBA-record 2,651st three-pointer against the Los Angeles Lakers. To celebrate the milestone, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 13 worn by Allen in limited quantities. To date, it's become one of the most collectible Air Jordans, but there were more pairs made to commemorate the mark.
Today, super collector Jay Jones (@dependablejay) unveiled a never-before-seen Ray Allen "2,561" Air Jordan 14 PE. The unreleased Jordans are styled in black, with a white contrast stitch and Celtics-inspired green and gold accents. Allen's record-setting mark is noted on the tongues.
"This is the very first time these XIVs have ever seen daylight!" Jones said on Instagram.
