After having his Air Jordan 11s stolen in college, Mets pitcher Matt Harvey is hoping Michael Jordan can help him get a new pair. In the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping from Complex, Harvey tells the story of how the shoes went missing.

"I had a pair of the all Powder Blue Jordan 11s," Harvey says, "and someone stole them from my apartment when I was at [University of North] Carolina."

The pitcher tries to purchase the shoes, but they don't have his size in stock. His solution? Turn to fellow UNC alum Michael Jordan to ask for help.

"Hey MJ, from one Tar Heel to another: They didn't have my size. 13s brother, thanks."

In the video, Harvey also says that he has a Nike cleat coming out next month.

"I actually did design my own cleat this offseason. So those will be coming out at the end of March."
