While Memphis' FedEx Forum doesn't have the allure of the Boston Garden or Madison Square Garden, it was the scene of Kobe Bryant's all-time great scoring performances. In 2007, the Mamba dropped 60 on the Grizzlies, the fifth highest game total of his career. On Wednesday night, Bryant said farewell to the site of his 60-pointer when the Lakers visited the Grizzlies.
Despite a solid effort from the Lakers, the Grizzlies led comfortably throughout and came away with a 128-119 victory. Bryant, who received several ovations and "KO-BE" chants, finished with 13 points.
In his final Memphis appearance, Bryant debuted an all-new Nike Kobe 11 PE in bold purple with yellow accents.
