Kyrie Irving isn't a 2016 NBA All-Star, which means that his shoe was missing from Nike Basketball's announcement regarding its signature All-Star shoes this year.
But an "All-Star" Kyrie 2 was designed well in advance, and pairs were produced. Surprisingly, at least one retailer is launching the shoes this week.
Shoe Palace has the sneaker for sale here. If the retailer has been given the go-ahead to sell pairs, it's possible that other sneaker chains will have them for sale somewhere down the line.
It's worth noting that the latest word from Nike on the matter, reported by Complex, was that it would not be releasing the shoe.
