Following up on their Ultra Boost collaboration with Hypebeast, adidas tabbed Wood Wood to put their touch on the breakout running sneaker. Drawing inspiration from the Denmark based brand's research into astrophysics, the Wood Wood x adidas Ultra Boost pack features two colorways of the sneaker, one for men and one for women.
The men's version is done in black and white with a black Primeknit and caged upper contrasted against a white heel counter and white Boost midsole. The stark black and white motif is subtly accented by hits of orange and blue on the heel tabs, the midsoles, and on the footbeds.
The women's version flips the men's colorway going with a white on black look. Tweaking the traditional upper design, the women's version is both "cageless" and it features a midfoot strap. The sneaker also features subtle blue and orange accents on the heel tabs and on the footbeds.
The adidas Ultra Boost x Wood Wood pack release date is set for Feb. 20, 2016 exclusively at Wood Wood with a worldwide release date scheduled for Feb. 27 at adidas Consortium retailers.
