The beauty of the northern lights wasn’t just an inspiration for what adidas is giving its players in this year’s NBA All-Star Game—it was an inspiration for its sneakers off the court, too. A handful of the brand’s most popular lifestyle sneakers got material makeovers to reflect (no pun intended) the illustriousness of the Aurora Borealis.

ZX Flux Decon: The deconstructed version of adidas Originals’ ZX Flux silhouette (seen above) takes the Aurora Borealis theme quite literally. With its detailed photo print of the northern lights across the upper, the model will be available in several versions for All-Star Weekend. Each features hits of glow-in-the-dark accents on the heel, ensuring that they’ll be turning heads both day and night.

ZX Flux XENO: Few adidas footwear options stand out quite like the ZX Flux XENO. The reflective color treatment that was inspired by the iridescent xenopeltis snake, first debuted a year ago, returns this year in a new colorway that blends together a combo of glow-in-the-dark green and light-reactive XENO scales.

Mesh Pack: The adidas Superstar and heritage-inspired Tubular Runner join this year’s All-Star lineup with an upgrade that, while rooted in performance, has its own visual twist: glow-in-the-dark mesh. The material forms the upper of each model, adding new dimensions of breathability and flash.
