Maybe the most interesting thing here is the asking price, a whopping $1,200 at Portland, Ore., consignment store Index PDX. All of the NMDs to release so far have sold for well above retail on the secondary market, but it might be a stretch to assume that people are already willing to fork over a grand for a pair.
