The latest from the adidas Futurecraft program is the Tailored Fibre model, which delivers on adidas' promise of shoes that suit individual needs of athletes.

The video introducing the project gives a look at the production process, featuring a machine printing the fibers that looks to require very little human input. This clip suggests that the project is another step toward adidas' goal of building shoes with robots.

The adidas Tailored Fibre uses a full-length Boost outsole.

While the project is an impressive one to look at, readers will have to wait to actually get their feet in these. Like the majority of Futurecraft designs to date, these exist only as a prototype for now. Hopefully adidas is able to deliver this level of innovation at a retail level sooner rather than later.
