Coming into this year's Three-Point Contest, most fans predicted that it would come down to the Golden State Warriors' Splash Brothers — Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Living up to the hype, Curry and Thompson had a head-to-head for the ages.
What's remarkable is the general level of shooting in the NBA. Thompson and Curry jumped ahead in the first round, while James Harden, J.J. Redick and Devin Booker battled for the third spot in the final after a three-way tie. In the end, it was 19-year old Booker that advanced.
However, the dynamic duo dominated the final round. Curry set the bar for the round with a score of 23, but Klay came through in the clutch and posted 27 — taking the Three-Point Championship from his teammate.
