Did you know Kyrie Irving was big into skateboarding as a teenager? Nike knows, and references that part of his childhood on this upcoming Kyrie 2.
The sneaker, a GS exclusive, plants a skateboard on the tongue and a skull graphic on the side with a skateboard in its mouth. While there are graphic updates referencing skateboarding, this Kyrie 2 is still very much a basketball shoe – no tech changes have been made to the design.
The sneaker release date for the Kyrie 2 "Skateboard" is Feb. 6.
