When news of the Nike Air Pressure retro broke yesterday, people hoping to purchase the long-awaited shoe immediately wanted to know how much it would cost. Those concerns were certainly understandable given that the shoe's original retail price in 1989 was a whopping $190.
The 2016 release will carry on the pricey legacy at $300, as confirmed by @Nikestore in the below tweet.
@Atombug The Air Pressure drops 1.14, exclusively through the SNKRS app for $300. Keep it locked to the app for any updates.— Nike.com (@nikestore) January 12, 2016
As mentioned by Nike, the shoe will release exclusively via the SNKRS app and not via nike.com. In addition, the shoes will be available at select Nike accounts globally – Dover St. Market is one of the additional stores that will have them.
While you wait for the Air Pressure's return on Thursday, enjoy these in-depth images of the shoe.
