Arguably the most overlooked model in the line, the Air Jordan 2 brought luxury footwear to the court in 1986. Originally dubbed the New Air Jordan, the Jordan 2 was a bit of a transitional model, falling between two of the most iconic sneakers of all-time. The standout feature was the use of genuine Italian leather in the shoe's construction, which continues to separate it from the rest of the pack.
To date, only 23 colorways of the Air Jordan 2 (high and low) have released, with a few more on the way this year. Surprisingly, almost as many sample pairs never made it to the production stage. Scroll through 18 unreleased Jordan samples below.
