Given the early success of the adidas NMD, it wouldn't be surprising to see adidas Originals expand the sneaker's reach with a full line, much in the same way it did with the Tubular.
One piece of evidence alluding to such a move is the above, which appears to be an adidas NMD Mid design. It's tough to tell exactly what's going on from a material standpoint given how grainy the photo is, but the upper looks rather like the linear Primeknit one used on the adidas Tubular Doom recently. Lines of text calling out adidas as "The brand with the three stripes" appear as well.
There is no sneaker release date or confirmation of this possible NMD style just yet.
