If the sneakers are good enough for the world's greatest athlete and decathlon world record holder Ashton Eaton, they oughta be good enough for you.
To celebrate Eaton's accomplishment at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing this summer of beating his previous decathlon world record, Nike's issuing a special edition of the Lunar Caldra shoe he wore to do it. The new shoe isn't guaranteed to get you closer to any world records, but it should fit the bill for training activities you might have.
The sneaker release date on these gold Ashton Eaton Lunar Caldras is set for Dec. 26. Inline red/black and volt/black colorways will follow in early 2016.
